Hot Air Balloon over Jaipur

Jaipur's palaces and the Aravalli hills from 1,200 feet — at dawn.

A sunrise hot air balloon flight over Jaipur — the Pink City's forts, palaces, and the Aravalli range spread below you in the soft morning light. Includes champagne breakfast on landing.

About This Experience

You leave the hotel in the dark. By the time you reach the launch field on the outskirts of Jaipur, the sky has turned from black to deep blue to the first band of gold on the horizon. The balloon is already being inflated — a controlled fury of propane and nylon — and within minutes you're rising above the Aravalli foothills. From 1,200 feet, Jaipur reveals itself differently. Amer Fort sits on its ridgeline like a crown. Nahargarh stretches along the hills behind it. The city's grid — Sawai Jai Singh's 18th-century urban planning — is suddenly legible. Fields, villages, and the occasional camel caravan fill the spaces between. The flight lasts 45–60 minutes depending on wind conditions. There are only two balloon operators in Jaipur worth trusting, and Antara works with the one that has the better safety record, the more experienced pilots, and the newer equipment. After landing, your Ambassador has arranged a champagne breakfast at a nearby heritage property — not a roadside table.
