Private Classical Music Evening

A sitar or sarangi in a candlelit haveli — music the way it was meant to be heard.

A private Hindustani classical music performance in a centuries-old haveli — just you, the musician, and the acoustics these rooms were designed for.

About This Experience

Indian classical music was never meant for concert halls. It evolved in intimate spaces — courtyards, terraces, chambers with stone walls that hold each note. This experience returns the music to where it belongs. We arrange a private evening with a respected local musician — a sitarist in Jaipur, a sarangi player in Varanasi, a vocalist in Udaipur — in a heritage haveli that most travelers never see from the inside. The performance is unhurried: the musician plays a full raga, building from the meditative alap through the rhythmic climax, with no time pressure. Your Ambassador provides quiet context if you want it, or simply lets the music speak. Paired with a curated dinner in the same space, this becomes one of those evenings you remember for decades.
